Beyond The Light Of Darkness:

I am blind, yet I can see,

The love that dwells inside of me

My days are darker than your night,

And yet it does not seem right that you should envision sorrow and pain

While in my words there is no rain

"There but for the grace", A phrase you say

As if "He" took my sight away

How could it ever be his scorn

When I've been blind since I was born?

No, take not your pity on me

For I know more of what is a tree

With your sight you pass it by

I touch It's leaves and wonder why...

A sighted man shall put asunder what the sightless often see in plunder

So lend me no sadness, Just give me the right

To see what I see without my sight

Close your eyes for just a while

Listen to the things that make me smile

For I really do not lose my sight

I only lived to gain the right

To make the most of every day

It seems all God's Glory passes my way
